PUSHA! It’s a skateboarding competition. It’s friendly, it’s non-official and it’s open to everybody.
PUSHA! it’s free, it’s non-profit, it’s a self-managed event made possible by volunteers.
When
The race was held Saturday 18 June 2016.
Next race’s date is still to be decided.
Where
Milano, Lambro Park.
Since 2002, the park is home to the skatepark that with its famous bowl is probably the preferred spot by the city’s skaters. No better place for the race!
Distance
Half Marathon: 20 km (11 laps).
Times and laps are recorded by hand or through the free Endomondo app.
Who can participate
Everyone, any age and any level. Come and try, it does not cost you anything and you will have fun!
What I really need to know?
Each rider participates at his own risk, each person is responsible for himself.
There is no real organization of the event: you race exactly as you would participate to a critical mass.
The track is not reserved: there will circulate simultaneously cyclists, runners, roller skaters and even simple pedestrians. You are responsible for them also, so pay close attention!
With what can you compete?
You can participate with skateboard, longboard (with paddle too), foot-bikes, scooters.
What is required?
Use of the helmet is mandatory (bicycle, skate, climbing … as you like it).
Do not show up without it!
Park services?!?
Public toilets and refreshment areas.
How do you get there?
By public transport is a short distance from Udine subway station Line 2 (follow the skaters goin’ to the skate park!). By car, free parking in the area is easy to find.
